Lexington Avenue Nightscape No.2 - A Midtown East Impression
On a crisp and very clear December night, the view from just north of E 59th St includes the illuminated
Art Deco spire of the Chrysler Building, some 17 blocks distant in the downtown direction, at E 42nd St.

The crispiness of the night is underlined by the brightly illuminated buildings. There is an amazing amount of light to be observed, by European standards, and the decoration on the right in combination with the busy traffic on the road as well as the sidewalk brings the pre-Christmas atmosphere about.I especially like the perspective down Lex. Ave. far down between the buildings; your image is almost exactly split in two halves by the imaginary line straight through your lens.
Another well-composed, atmospheric image... ;-)
Best regards
